Letter from Louis-Antoine Caraccioli during his travels in Poland to Clement-Ignace, the Chevalier de Resseguier, who was, at the time, at the home of the French ambassador in Warsaw, Poland. Caraccioli mentions his departure from Krakow to Vienna for a stay of several days, and offers de Resseguier a place to stay in Paris. The majority of the letter concerns Caraccioli's feelings about the harsh climate in Poland and the emptiness of the city due to the plague, though he states that his views should not be considered as criticisms of the country itself or its people.
